JV Giveaway Update

Well I have two full days under my belt in my first ever JV Giveaway. I gotta tell ya… Alex knew what he was talking about. Finally I have noticeable increase in the size of my mailing list!

Here are two screenshots from the first two days so you can see my vast improvement…

JV Giveaway Stats - Day One

JV Giveaway Stats - DayTwoNow I actually have a list that I can build relationships with… and FINALLY start my business in earnest! Man, this is fun… and I’ve already signed up for another giveaway starting September 1st… so keep in touch… bigger things are coming.

Well… now I’m off to start the relationship-building with my new list…

I’ll keep you updated on my successes and failures in that department as well!

Until next time…

Peace,

My First JV Giveaway is Live

So I tweaked up my report Secret Selling: Psychology and the Art of the Sale and am finally ready to enter it into JV giveaway programs. If you don’t know what a JV Giveaway is… go visit my good friends JT Martin and David Walker… they know much more about them, and have good information of their sites.

That being said… let me do a little shameless self-promotion. My standing in the giveaway will improve the more folks I send over to grab the freebies. And there are a LOT of freebies to be had!

So if you would like to help me, and help yourself to great PLR products, then jump over to:

And sign up for all the great free stuff!

I’ll be blogging about my success or failure in these list-building adventures in the next few days. So check back and see how I’m doing… and wish me luck!

Until next time…

Peace,

PS – I am completely stoked about the call with Andew Fox tonight! If it’s half as amazing as the Rich Schefren call last week, my head may just explode from the great insider information. Thanks again Alex Jeffreys!

Well… it took a loooooong time and definitely shows that I am NOT a video expert, but my video is finally finished.

If I had a few more days I would polish it a bit more… but the deadline is fast approaching and I have to start work on Science of the Sale videos… so this is going to have to do.

So without any further ado… here is my video entry! I hope you enjoy it half as much as I enjoy making it!

Please leave a comment to tell me what you think of my masterpiece. And then you should go over to Alex Jeffreys’ blog and tell him how much you liked my video as well… that may help me win!

Until next time…

Peace,

So I’ve spent the past few days working VERY hard on my video entry for Alex Jeffreys’ $1000 contest. Alex has offered a cool grand for the most creative and content-filled video posted by August 19th.

This was inspired by the special call with video-marketing genius Maria Andros that MWA students were privy to.

While the video is not 100% complete… I do have 5 scenes “in the can.”

Here are a few screenshots to whet your appetitite.

So I keep hearing how easy, and how important, it is to build Squidoo lenses. But before today I had only seen one Squidoo lens, and did not have an account. So I thought I’d try my hand at building one from scratch.

Of course, there was no point learning without bringing you guys along with me. So I did.

Check out the screen capture video I recorded while learning from Step One…

It did take a little more than ten minutes for me to get the first lens done… so I had to cut the video in two for YouTube happiness. But then again… I had a lens up in a little over ten minutes.

Just for fun I created the lens Is Alex Jeffreys just a hack? Of course the answer to that question is a resounding, NO… but I thought the title may attract viewers of all types. A little sneaky… but not much.

So check out the videos… there is actually a third video. I didn’t want to waste time figuring out whether I could insert HTML in the text… or maybe it was BBcode or something else… so I recorded a second video showing what I learned while editing my text boxes and adding my blog posts.

Leave me some comments to let me know what you think… I did learn not to scroll my screen so much when my personal information is up… had to blur a big chunk of screen there for a bit. Another learning experience… now you don’t have to make THAT mistake.

Without any further ado…

Peace,

On the brainstorming call with Alex Jeffreys Monday night he really made it clear how important it is to set yourself a deadline. By doing so, you commit yourself to the goal. And by doing it publicly, like I am about to do, only adds to the motivation.

Once it’s out there, it’s out there…

So here goes…

Science of the Sale goes LIVE on October 13th, 2009!

What does this mean to you? That depends…

How you could help/benefit:

  • Form a joint venture with me and help me get this thing on the market and making money for us both
  • Give me some advice on what you would like to see in the SOTS videos
  • Offer your services (even paid services) to help me with my weaknesses
    • Social media marketing (I don’t have the time… I have to make videos)
    • Final video production… I’m better as talent than production
    • Sales copy and squeeze page help… once again, time… gotta make videos!

Alex made it clear that time is a factor when he is deciding what product launches to support, so this is more than 60 days in advance… so you have time to watch my progress and decide how involved you want to be. Sign up here to get the videos in their raw form as they are completed…

By getting in early, you will see the development of the product and be well-versed in it. As a result, you will be able to create real reviews of the product for your subscribers and readers, instead of trying to piece together a review based on a sales page.

To repeat…

Science of the Sale goes LIVE on October 13th, 2009…

Sign up now to be a part of the marketing revolution.

Seriously… have you even heard of it? It’s the “new kid on the block” and as such, the folks there truly have their collective finger on the pulse of the Web.

Everybody is talking these days about social media and Web 2.0 and how it ties in with Internet Marketing. The problem is that a medium like Twitter for example is so fluid that a hot topic right now may be passé by dinnertime.

So the problem is, how do you know what’s hot right now… and more importantly, what’s going to be hot next week? Well…

  • Google Trends in their Zeitgeist center is a good start… log in and it will give you some nice information.
  • Twitter lists the Trending Topics right on screen… pretty close to real-time data there.
  • YouTube has a “Statistics & Data” tab that sometimes gives nice trend information about videos
  • StumbleUpon, Digg, Deli.cio.us,Reddit, etc all have their own methods of rating “hotness”

But how do you find the time to monitor all these sites and STILL get anything done?

That’s where Trendrr.com comes in. Just check out this video to see how cool Trendrr.com really is…
